Facebook Groups are not dead.
There is still value to be had in the Good ole Facebook Group. The key is finding the group that best meets your needs. And it has a lot to do with how you interact in the group. Facebook Groups are all about two-way communication.
The difficulty is finding the group that speaks to you and has what you need. Facebook search for groups isn’t the best so i have compiled a list of groups that i and my clients have found value in. Within these groups, you’re able to ask for feedback, share advice, and connect with people who have similar goals.

Women’s Entrepreneur Network
Looking for huge interaction and a community of Women who help others in business. Then you can look passed The We Network group. The place to be for NZ women in business who crave community, resources, and success. Owner Rachel Lewis is a mum, entrepreneur and a passionate advocate for women and mums in business.
A lot of colleagues and friends are huge fans of this group. With over 1800 members you are bound to find a great deal of knowledge and support.

If you haven’t come across this group – The question is WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN HIDING? Natalie Cutler-Welsh is in my opinion, the networking Queen. She has this ability to connect the right people together. It’s a skill. She loves collaborating and her group is full of interesting things from life in general to business. She runs networking events where she brings talented knowledgeable speakers together to help inspire you from health, wellness and business. This is the group where business owners become friends for life.

New Zealand Small Business Owners Networking & Ideas Forum
Packed full of valuable resources. This is a group where business owners share their WINS and losses. The information in the group has been not only valuable to me but also to my clients who i see interacting on a daily basis. Run by Nick Hoyle who does a great job. It is good to point out it is nice to have a man leading the charge in a group. Sometimes as women owners we tend to hover in women groups.

Fuse Auckland
A group with a difference. Monthly meet ups and a mix of online and offline activities. Fuse might be a smaller group but it packs a punch above its weight. Liz has organised some humdinger events where amazing speakers present and business collaborations are formed. This group is about building relationships and helping out your fellow business owner. There is no such things as WIIFM (what’s in it for me), but actually what can we do together, how can we help you? What/who are you needing right now that we may be able to point you in the right direction.

Owen Video – Is one of my all time favourite fellas from the States. If you are wanting to tame video for youtube or do live videos then you need to learn from the best. This group oozes information. Everything you need to know about videos from scripts, equipment to lighting and much, much more. And girls Owen is just a cutie pie. He is almost better to watch than tv.
